I’m an East London-based photographer specialising in wedding, corporate and social photography. I shoot unobtrusive reportage, using mostly the available light, capturing the special moments to tell an engaging story.
I’ve been using a camera since my teens but I didn’t always go with the passion.
I graduated in graphic design with a BA from Central St Martins and spent the next ten years working on corporate literature and visual identity creation. During those years
I art-directed other photographers, which was also a very useful learning experience. Meanwhile, I embraced all things desktop and beside being a designer I became a Photoshop expert. To this day I do my own processing and retouching.
Towards the end of the 90s I got back into photography in a big way. My main interest was landscapes and I shot on transparency film, using medium format cameras. However, with the advent of digital I began to experiment with forms and styles and discovered
I had a natural flair for capturing the human condition and expression.
One day, one of my work colleagues asked me to shoot her wedding and it all started from there…
